Today's early digital shot NGC 5189

Something a little different. 28 x 65 secs ISO 3200, and an enlargement.
Hope youse all like them. First one best at 90% screen.

Superb image Raymo
You should frame this one !!
A bit of history.......
This planetary Nebula was discovered by the Scottish born astronomer James Dunlop in 1870 who had his observatory in North Parramatta Sydney and discovered many NGC catalogue DSO’s and double stars
His grave is located in St Paul’s Anglican church Kincumber on the central coast north of Sydney
My eldest son lives near Dunlop St which was named after him
Cheers
Martin

That is a great capture Raymo. I bet I could not even find it☺.

Martin my Son was married in that church and I found it most intetesting because of the Dunlop conection so it made a oridinary day tolerable☺.
