Project Bluebook

Hi all,

Did anyone catch the new series on SBS on Thursday Project Bluebook?

Looks like it has the makings of a good series, seems to be following the plot of the X-files with a few twists and turns being woven in as well.

Cheers

We watched the first episode last night and it looks promising - good acting and script.
Conversely the writers for Star Trek Discovery should be sent back to their old jobs at Days of Our Lives.

Wait till episode two when Hynek gifts his son a telescope, it's hilarious. I've watched the entire series, no spoilers from me. :-)
More good series to catch is The OA,on inter-dimensional travel and the Flat Earth Beyond the Curve doco.

Funny - when the X-files came out I remember saying it followed the plot of the old project Bluebook TV series from the late 70s!

Project bluebook was a real USAF study into UFOs that was closed in the late 60s, and concluded that none of the recorded sightings were genuine extraterrestrial visits. Of course being official, conducted by real scientists with expertise in the relevant fields, and funded by the US Government means that every crackpot since can just completely dismiss the work as a conspiracy.

It's astonishing how many of the 'UFO' reports our local observatory receives are prefixed with 'me and a couple of mates were having a few beers, and...'

cheers,
Andrew.

I was howling with rage at the screen at that point...

Yes, reflector "used" other way around, just like in "death in paradise"..

That reflector in the second episode looked like it had a lens rather than a mirror; maybe they weren't using it the wrong way around?
