Hi all,
I have just had a problem with my CG-5 mount, which basically does not power up anymore. I have tried connecting with an alternate battery connector, and have multimeter tested the power supply to ensure that 12volts is actually getting to it.
I have disassembled the mount, and have the circuit boards out now. Does anyone have any experience testing these boards? I would appreciate some pointers on some testing procedures to see what component is actually faulty. I have also sent an email to Celestron regarding this, but no reply yet. If anyone knows of anyone in Perth that would be able to check this out for me, it would be appreciated.
