Spitfire Start Up....

Trying to start a Spitfire MKXVI after 17 years .....

It eventually does ... go ' full screen ' ... it's better that way .

My favorite plane I built a balsa model when I kid.
What size is the battery ? I thought he was going to need a jump start.

Finally got to watch it Col, thanks for the link.
The second time I watched it I shut my eyes for the first two minutes and imagined it was Lewis trying to slew his mount to Polaris to achieve alignment.

What...hang on...wait a minute... you are saying polar alignment doesn’t mean I point it north at the ground? Well I’ll be...

I was wondering what all the grinding and massive guide pulses were for. Thought me mount were buggered but good.
