Sorry to Saturn and her rings!

Hi Chaps
First ever effort with the DMK and Registax 4 and I seem to have broken Saturns rings!!.
What have I done wrong? just used three alignment points on the Cassini div but it seems to have got busted somewhere along the way
Clear skies
Steve

Apart from the misalignment, it looks good.

I've had troubles with alignment points not aligning properly as well. Make sure you check "feather" and set 10 pixels. If it still comes out with visible joins, try using just 2 alignment points (128px) on the left half and right half of the planet (inclusive of rings).

Hi Steve, that still a nice image for your very first go, it's all up from here on and once you work the alignment I'm sure they will be great images.

Cheers

Beautiful Cassini division and some contrast, that foremost regardless of the rest of the minor niggles.

i have tried reg 4, but have gone back to reg 3.

i can see no point in using it. The multi point alignment seems great for the moon, but not much else.

The cassini division is great, congrats!
