M42 + ngc-3372 in JPGs.

Hi All,
I accidently took a series of Pix. last night in the wrong format- JPG. rather than the normal RAW format, I was using DSLR Focus and it set the Camera at Low/Med resolution when Focussing, I forgot to change this when I went on Imaging, Its a tribute to the Canon EOS300D that these pictures are so good, The Carina shot is just one 6 Min. Exp. at ISO-400 with no DF removed (I dident take any in this format) With M42 I added 4 x 6 Min. ISO-400 Exp. still no DF removed, in either case the noise is way in the background, and the OAT was 27 C. last night, not that im knocking cooled cameras, imaging what a QHY8 would have done.

Scope ED-80, guided.

cheers.......Jim
