Centauro A Galaxy

Hi there,


After a lot of bad wheather and work related issues, this is my first pic of the year!!!!


Comments and suggestions are very wellcome.

14 x 5 minutes light frames + dark + bias and flat frames. Processed in Star Tools.
Canon 50D
Scope: SW Esprit 120 ED

Hi Fernando,

Beautiful pic there !

My only comment would be you beat me to it ! I was literally out last night trying this object myself. Mine is fully washed out with sky glow from the moon and Melbourne but I'm happy that given the right conditions I can get a decent pic. If mine turns out half as good as yours I'll be happy

I am also in a large city (Brasil) with lots of light polution. But my gear is in a countryside place, 50 kms away, with (still) dark skies. The drawback is that I am there only for the weekends...


Hope you may get a nice picture of Centauro A!!!!
