SuperLube - found a good place locally

If anyone is hunting down the elusive and much-vaunted SuperLube for their gear, MekTronics in Sydney sell it.

I got a tube for $20 POSTED ($11 postage), and this seems a better price than many other sellers.

They also sell a LOT of other difficult to find items/chemicals, so chekc them out. They were by FAR the cheapest place I found to buy Kimwipe Delicate Task Wipers (lint free tissue for lens cleaning).

Good find! Next door for me. Used to order this stuff from the US.
And I have Kimwipes on my shelf as well next to the lube.

PS: For the worms that are somehow exposed to the weather I reckon the best is the MP-50 moly paste. It's black and sticky so very messy.
I got a can from the US as well. It's a bit thicker and doesn't turn with water like the super lube. Super lube is great for bearings and small parts.

Another option to try for superlube - check out your local locksmiths. That's where I got mine from. Can't remember the price though, but it didn't seem too expensive at the time.

I'm always confused by lubricants. At Losmandy they use moly paste, but it's so expensive that I have no idea what a suitable replacement would be or even how different lubes are specified. Operating Temp? Viscosity? pH?

So I'm looking at that shop and there are pages of super lube products. [shrug]
