NGC2516-Carina and M41-Canis Major

Taken from red zone in Johannesburg, South Africa using Samsung NX500 DSLR;

3 x 80mm refractors (2 Skywatcher doublets and 1 William Optics doublet)

Each exposure was 1min at ISO100; 6 hours of data; PHD2 guided;

Stacked and processed in Pixinsight: Cropped then DBE; SCNR; color calibration; arcsinh and histogram stretch

Could probably reduce noise via Pixinsight tools. Any suggestions on best tools for noise reduction?

I like a subtle application of MultiscaleLinearTransform using a linear mask before stretching.

Thanks Rick, I'll give that a go. So much to play with in PI
