Wanted Mount for Astrophotography

Needs to handle up to approx 15kg, mount only required!
Low PE and backlash a must
Already have a frustrating eq5 equivalent so I don't need one like this.

Can anyone comment on the eq6 v3 for astrophotography?

There are a lot of people using them, see Eric's latest photo's by searching for posts by Ezystyles. Eric is using an EQ6.

Ahhhh, you are thinking of buying Dave47Tuc's EQ6 with V.3 Synscan.

I have seen Daves mount in use with a Meade DSI camera at Camp. It did the trick just fine. And it was 'rock solid'.
I haven't had a chance to use mine photographically yet, but I am very eager to when the smoke goes away
