A few blokes observing the comet.

Got some of the guys together today from the NAS and IceInSpace and we went up to Redhead Bluff to look at the comet.

There was some high cloud when we arrived, nothing to worry about in the beginning but later on the low cloud started moving in.
To top it of a fire broke out and the wind was pushing the smoke in a westerly direction and getting worse (just what we needed!)

Anyway, just above the cloud bank I spotted the comet and next thing I know Houghys going for it with both cameras taking multiple shots.

Here are some pics of us that afternoon, and I'm sure Scott and Houghy will have some nice photos of the comet in another thread.

3 George and the Cockie

6 The sun through the smoke!

I was at Long Jetty, saw a few people looking for the comet.
Low clouds were very frustrating!

Great shots Ed.
