Looks like a scam to me....

found some odd activity on ebay , some telescopes that seem to be both in Sydney and overseas at the same time, some odd advertising practices that look to be an off Ebay link to "buy it now" , I've reported one 'scope and one mount as fraud, but someones bound to loose some money .......
item number 391993045359 will get you started

He / She is also active in the Radio Communication Listings on Ebay....several Comm's Receivers are listed by that person.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Watkins-J...sAAOSweWhamzIP

and here are several other listings......

It would have to be a ' con ' ....they won't take bids ...

Just checked items for sale and all the ridiculous price items have been removed except for the items that company normally sells eg switches electrical components.
Looks like someone has listed a heap of personal items at ridiculous prices.
More likely a domestic rather than a scam.
The company looks legit and have really good feedback but maybe someone with a grudge had put all someone's personal items for sale at really low prices to get back at them.
Just my opinion.

They may have been hacked, if that was the case the scammers use there good feedback to fool people and your taken off site to pay, only takes one or two sales to make it worth while...

Yeah, I ran into one of these things a while back. Starlight Xpress imager for about $20. Click on the description button and you get redirected to a page that says, "this is the sale price, no bids accepted".... so I blasted the turd and reported them. eBay is becoming scam central!

I was looking at these adds last night if there the same ones listed as used. I jumped on there to make a bid and although my bid was accepted and a few others later last night the bids where retracted buy the seller for some reason...I think there trying to save on eBay fees by what I gathered. All buy it now prices where at $1900 which was to much for what I wanted

Not true. I have bid on a number of "buy it now" items I knew were a scam. Just did not pay. I did this so as to annoy the scammer and ensure nobody else bought and paid. ebay sorted it in the end, but the "payment due" bit hung around for a while.
One example was a hydraulic log splitter listed for less than 1/2 the normal price, from a seller with zero feedback.

I got Non-Scammed when I bought a DSLR about 10 years ago. I got it for a BIN price of $40.00. The price was supposed to be $400. The seller honored the agreement and it took me a week to get him to accept the extra $360.
Top bloke!
