Robinson Crusoe Island

Good article here. Loved the book as a kid.

And some pretty cool cloud patterns in the wake of islands off the coast of Africa.

These days, it is easy to identify with Robinson Crusoe. Sadly!

Very cool cloud patterns and interesting mathematical background. Going to Juan Fernandez group would be an interesting trip. Tim Severin wrote a great book about Robinson Crusoe island and the background of the “Desert Island “ type stories and their origins . Great book but the author has unfortunately just died, so no more more of those books and crossing the ocean in ancient boats.

I guess it's a question of perspective and where you live.
