12" Dob

Thought i would cover the silver on my 12" and sorta stuffed it up but its how it works not how it looks right ?

What did you covert it in, and why did you cover it?

i would like to be able to look through my EP with both eyes open but when i did on our night all i could see was bright silver even in the dark.....

i have two stickers left Ice.... they will go back on !

just as well, youdont want to upset mike!!

well the black should do the job then. I find after a hard nights veiwing my non-viewing eye gets tired of being closed all the time. I have thought of using an eye patch on it.

that looks awesome!!!....I kinda went for the same idea, only I did it by sticking a felt-like material on my 12" gso. I found the same thing happened when I looked into the eyepiece also.

The black does look good but i agree with "vings thought" the eye patch would be the way to go. I would hate to bugger the paint job up as it may not be in ones favour when selling the scope time comes around.

Rubber backed fabric and it was attached with a spray adhesive... Check the pic below....

who'd replace a 12" dob ???????? maybe buy it a smaller electronic brother but NOT FOR SALE !!!!
