Geez, Canning Reservoir (first pic) is looking a little low! (I flew over that area daily for 3 years...I know it photographically if I close my eyes lol)

Lewis, just recall that these days Canning dam, along with Serpentine Pipehead, is just a holding tank for the desal plants on the coast.

Moved from Perth 9 years ago - forgotten all the hows and whys.

I do remember freezing Perth water for driving trips etc - there was still QUITE a lot of salt in the water, very obvious when the melt started.

Yep .... it's a grand life we Pensioner have .... cheap this , cheap that ... ..... discounts galore ..!!

Kid's prices at the Big Screen Cinemas , 2 free Rail Travel every year .... anywhere in Qld .... and the list goes on ....
