Is this good?

I've been meaning to ask you guys a question.

I'm not much of an optical expert and thus am unaware of what might or might not be considered good performance.

The other night I was viewing NGC 2264 (the Christmas Tree cluster) with my 9.25 and I noticed that 15 Mon is a double star.

I believe the angular separation of its two stellar components is 2.6".

Is this any good?

Can anyone recommend a good test of a 9.25 aperture scope?

Many thanks
