Another NGC 300

Image:

  • 56x 600s LP as Luminance bin1x1
  • 23x 600s Red bin1x1
  • 23x 600s Green bin1x1
  • 28x 600s Blue bin1x1
  • 50x 300s H-alpha bin2x2
Total exposure 25 hours 50 minutes.


Hardware:

  • Skywatcher Black Diamond 120ED
  • SkyWatcher EQ8 Pro Mount
  • QSI 683-ws8 Camera @ -15°C
  • Astronomik Typ2 LRGB, 6nm Ha filters
  • Starlight Xpress Lodestar X2 guide camera
  • Innovations Foresight On Axis Guider
  • Starlight Instruments Focus Boss II

Hi Adam,
that's an incredible picture from an orange zone.
I know how dim that target is.
3 hours of data got me nearly nothing on a 10" f4 Newt. from an orange
zone even though I used binning 2x2.
