WOW! I buy a mount and look at the weather!

Just because I buy a mount (arriving next week) the forecast has instantly changed.

Originally the forecast was Sunny & Fine for Sunday, Mon, Tues, and Wed,

Now look what it says from the BOM site!!!!

Ballarat
Tonight and Sunday
Partly cloudy with a few showers. The risk of thunderstorms, mostly in the
afternoon and evening. Light to moderate northeast wind.
Min 14 Max 26
Precis: Few showers. Possible thunderstorms.

Monday Few showers. Possible thunderstorm. Min 13 Max 28
Tuesday Few showers. Possible thunderstorm. Min 14 Max 28
Wednesday Shower or two. Possible thunderstorm. Min 15 Max 30

I wouldn't take all the credit for the weather, Ken.

I've just bought a 4x Powermate and some other goodies and have had the scope out for some early morning imaging the last 3 mornings and guess what?

That's now 3 successive mornings where I've had to pack away without a single ToUcam shot snapped in anger. I've been getting up at 3am on my holidays

The funny thing is... it's looked nice and clear right up until 1am all three mornings!!!!!!!!!!

But just to be sure, return that mount to Houghy will ya. That's a nice dragon

You got to have storms last night Andrew!

Also, I just realised, my mount won't arrive till probably Thursday. Maybe the weather will be good from then on. We need the rain now! After Thursday it can clear up again

Typical of the weather reports up here. As I keep saying, don't listen to the reports, the sky will be fine!

Well, the report up the top of this page is Phooey again!!!!

The sky outside is crystal clear and still. Washed out by Moon Shine, but lovely still the same.

As Barb and David mention in this post, ignore the weather reports up here:

Ok, Ok, so they were right for once

We are starting to cloud over and there is lightning on the Northern Horizon. The cloud is coming in from the north so it is coming this way. They must have fluked the right report for a change

Gee I hope we get some rain out of it!

It looks like a compound effect from all the goodies that everybody bought and recieved over Christmas.

Well, it looks like Victorians might have to buy more Astro goodies as it isn't working properly.
All we got last night (apart from lots of lightning) was about 2 minutes of light rain!
