The RC8 is a good little scope once you get past collimation and do a few upgrades. Ann contemplating going larger..

Thanks for the comment

Nice, this is one of my favourite clusters to look at through a scope, it really looks more like a globular cluster. I was thinking of imaging it myself the night I grabbed the Pavo glob actually

Cheers Louie, glad you like it. There's something a bit nice about M11.

With you on that one. Was out with the Dob the other week and picked this out. A great site with the 13mm ethos.

Have you picked out the first target for the FSQ yet?

Ha!...depends when I finally get it up and running OPT sent me the wrong Tak-RoboFocus bracket and I thought it would be a quick replacement so I 'just waited.... then things got mixed up between OPT and Robofocus and it took longer than expected...it was finally put in the mail only yesterday by OPT buuuut as for which target? .....I'm thinking probably one of the more iconic summer fields I'm in no rush though, I have a perfectly capable setup right now that is perfectly tuned and 100% reliable and I hate down time/change so when it happens, it has to happen, be quick and work straight up!
