Dobsonian 10"

Just had a look at the 10" Dobsonian. They want $500 . Was rusty on all outer screw & handles also mirror was either very dirty or faded/scratched all around the edges . Not sure if it would effect viewing ? I am a beginner with no idea .

Would this still be a good pick up ?

Mirrors get old even with good care go off, sounds like the scope has not been well treated so it would be a clean and a remirror a new one will be lots cheaper.
First scope buy a new one from a shop so you can get support.
I would not tame it on at $50
I havea 12 inch that I will probably throw out cause the mirror is stuffed and it has a few other issues...
