Without this book (The Dobsonian Telescope) I would have been a bit lost, It's the way I went about building my telescope.

Each to thier own.... spending ~$80 on a book that teaches you how to make something which will save you many $100's on buying a commercial product (particularly the larger sized scopes) ...... priceless
