Question Cloud prediction / forecasts

Hi Everyone,

I hope this isn't a silly question

Is there a better way to predict cloud cover other than the Bureau of Meteorology Web Site or going outside and looking at the sky ?

Im near the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne.

There's a few weather references in the Weather page on IIS.

But BOM is pretty good.

or you could stand out in front of Andrews , bintel , Astro-optical etc etc
and count the purchases.
Telescopes = 3 nights
Eyepieces = 2 nights
CCD's = 1 week
Goto Mounts = 2 weeks
Normal Alt Az Mounts = 5 days

etc etc
