Request for Cat photos
I'm going through a "stage" at the moment of painting feline portraits.
My own cat has sat for 6 of these so far and I think it's time to find a new model.
So if you have a nice closeup photo of your moggy that you don't mind sharing, could you post it in this thread.
It could be full body, face and shoulders, playful, sitting or sphinx like . A plain background would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

Mother and son. Intrigued by a bird feeding on nectar from flowers on the tree outside the window.

Here's one of our two numbskulls.
Funny - we don't actually have one of a portrait-worthy stance anywhere. Time to rectify that......

Hey, thanks everyone. This will keep me going for ages.
Especially love your very close closeup Vingo. I think I'll do that one first.
I use acrylic paint. I like the way it can be used diluted like water colour or just slap it on thick like oil paint. Plus it dries real quick.
My attempts at painting in colour are just horrid. So monochrome is the go for me, saves me heaps on buying all those coloured paints.

An Astronomy Cat
Not a real cat (obviously
) but would still make an interesting painting.
