Direct Drive Mount by Planewave

Just wondering if others had seen this:

http://planewave.com/products-page/mounts/l-500-mount/

It's a new direct drive drive mount product by Planewave.

Looks like they've just removed one of the fork arms from the mount they use with the CDK800

Looks like they use swashplate motors. Extremely high torque with a huge built-in reduction without using any gears. Feasible on something that size but not on amateur mounts.

It looks way too thin for that
I think its more like a steroided stepper/ washing machine motor,
but precision made, and with a really really well designed encoder feedback loop.

ed
and on digging into the planewave site, there is a writup on the motor half way down
