selling my Celestron 8SE mount only as want to upgrade to GEM mount as taking a more serious approach to astrophotography. Has served me well with my Celestron 8 inch SCT or Orion ED80 refractor. Have new nexstar + hand controller which has been updated today to the latest firmware. I have used starsense and gps module successfully as well.
The mount and electronics all work well and is a great light scope to move around. My current setup of SCT, starsense, camera, gps, 2 inch diagonal and focal reducer is 8 kg and handles the weight no problem which you can see in one of the photos.
Asking around $650 ono and have mains power supply for mount. Local pickup or can deliver, meet in Sydney area.
