M20 in LRGB with minimal time

This is the only image I have managed this New Moon. Well it was actually done from data collected on Tuesday night so about a week after the new moon but with the rubbish weather here in Colac ya take what ya can get!!. Consists of a massive 7x5mins of luminence and 6x2mins each of RGB. So total integration of 71 minutes so very much a case of minimal data. Anyway did my usual mucking about in Pixinsight to preprocess and did more post processing and non linear work than usual in Pixinsight before adding some tweaks in PS.
Have both a crop and a full size version.

A solid image of this winter favourite Malcolm. Accurate colouring too, some might find it a bit fluro...buuut IIII like it!

Thanks Mike. Yeah I was a little concerned about the "fluoro" feel, but Having seen this object visually many times, I know it is a bright object, and I was trying to convey that same eye popping feel in an image that I get in my 20".

Hey Malcolm, Nice work.
I think the colour in the stars appears undersaturated though, lots of white and not much colour in what is a what is a glorious golden field.
The Flouro effect you refer to appears to be the result of lack of detail and oversaturation imo. You can tell because the jet isn't showing - probably a consequence of the short integration time.
Reckon you're doing great, and keep adding to this one as heaps more data will pay handsome dividends

I actually used an inverted star mask in PI to then desaturate the stars a bit as I found I though there was too much gold/yellow in the stars and it was quite distracting. May have gone a bit overboard but!! will keep playing around with it, just happy to have some data to play with.
It is quite fun seeing what you can get with short integration time.
