Takahashi NJP Manual

I've just picked up a Takahashi NJP mount but it didn't come with a few items. I'm missing the Temma 2 manual but I've found that on line. What I'm looking for is the manual for the mount and the software.

Does anyone have either of these or know where I could download them? From what I've read the software isn't that important but I would like to get a copy of the manual.

If its the Takahashi Pegasus Software you are talking about ......I don't think I have ever seen a manual for it....and I brought my EM400 mount new.

But from what I have seen the software is extremely out of date....so will not be of much use to you either way.

Best option is to use SkySafari on IPAD or on a Laptop, Astromist (iPad) or something like The Sky X.

I have one as a PDF file but it is too big to upload here, if you want to, send me your email address via PM I will send it to you.

As Phil has said, the software is totally out of date and cumbersome to use, Sky6/X, ASCOM based programs, SkySafari etc are the way to go.

Cheers

Yes, Pegasus is...err...yesterday's technology. Kind of like trying to use a Commodore 64 today.

I drove my NJP through ASCOM without issue.

Thanks to everyone for your responses, and a particular thanks to John for the manual.

Yes, I had read that the Pegasus software wasn't worth dealing with and I'm planning to use ASCOM to drive the mount - once I've made an FTDI cable to work with it.

I must admit that the manual is not entirely clear on some points, such as adjusting azimuth for polar alignment. I bought it to install on a yet to be built backyard pier so expect some more questions when I'm ready to get this mount into operation.

Once again, thanks for your help.
