Cool ROOOAAAAARRRR!! planes.

took another trip to my spot near the airport. air traffic was low tho. still snapped off some goodies

enjoy!

They make a lot of noise dont they, the planes that is..

Mr Ving, you really do speak my language, Astronomy AND Aircraft.
Check this F-15 and C-130 out.
I did them with a Nikon D-50 and a Tamron 70-300mm F3.8 lens zoomed to the hilt. For some as yet un explaned reason I had a perfect day to do these shots (this is very rare where I live) most of the time it is raining or snowing or there are tornado's causing problems, I hope the weather in Australia is better than it is in Kentucky.

Great shots David, if i could i would hang out at airports all day to watch them take off and land, i find them very fascinating. I hope that doesn't sound weird.

They were banking sharply. There is a major air show in my town every year and I live right there very close to where it happens.
