NGC 6188 in Ha

Another one. This is the real project.
Thinking of doing a 2x2 mosaic of this as well.
22 x 10 minute subs with ASI1600mm on HDR gain setting. cooled to -10.
TS102 scope with 0.8 flattener/reducer. 5nm Ha.

C&C welcomed.

thanks for looking.

Scott

Looks good, Scott. Perhaps a mosaic that includes NGC6164/6165?

Thanks Rick.

Inspired by yours and Martin's efforts in 2016 (APOD no less!) the planning has already begun.

A camera rotation of about 30 degrees should get me there...

Very fine. Nice and moody. You've avoided what I think of as the trap of trying to show every photon you've captured, ending up with a bland flat-looking image, and instead you've elegantly shown the drama of the bright stuff.

Looking forward to the mosaic.

Best,
Mike
