In the backyard

In my back yard. Trying to understand how my camera works in low light.

Canon EOS 600D
f4.5
30 seconds exposure
ISO 1600

Image directly from camera. I have no software for photo enhancing.

We have the same camera, and those settings gave me these from Devonport last year.
And I think it was the kit lens before I got the Tamron 17-50f2.8

It's very satisfying to get a good result when you go out in the cold for one of these so, nicely done.

Thank you for your kind words.
The camera lens was what came with the camera.
I have just ordered a wide lens 50mm EF f1.4 and I cannot wait to see how the milky way looks.
