Hi all,
As bad luck seems to follow me around where ever I go, I am looking to see if there is any interest in a home made Pier, built to suit an EQ6. The top aluminium plate is 250mm x 250mm x 40mm machined to suit the EQ6. The tube of the pier is 166mm in diameter and 5mm thick. The pier itself stands 1m above the ground. It is held on the ground via 4 bolts/threaded rods or whatever. The best option being 4 threaded rods bent at the end recessed into a cement slab then the pier goes over the rods then held down by nuts. I have 4 threaded rods (prebent) suitable for the task if needed.
The Pier is the same as the one in this thread

Right now the pier is filled with foundry sand, which dampens the vibrations of the pier greatly. This can be supplied also.
Pick up is a must, but could look into meeting half way for an added cost on top, to help pay for fuel etc...
I am looking for around $500. Or for a swap for an Orion ED80 in Good/excellent condition with Guide rings/Tube rings/dovetail to suit EQ6.
