One for Striker - Ladies and gentlemen and astronomers - your best Pelican Please

Yes thats right, and even if he doesn't know it yet, Striker is going to officiate and pick the best pelican picture that we can throw at him.

lets say between now and the 8th December, a little over 7 days, so go forth and pick your pelican, get them to pose and send in your best happy snap just for Tony to pick!!!

Box brownie to million dollar shot from Hubble they are all welcome here

Sharpen those critiquing skills Mr Striker

I'm up for it....but they better be good.

I'm happy to officiate on Pelican pics just as long as we dont start a mangrove or surfy thread of the same nature.

Thanks for nominating me Houghy ...I owe you one ....lol

I don't have any "posed" pelican shots, just some good ole feeding shots from Ansons Bay Tasmania in March this year......and if you look carefully you can even see a flying fish.....

"Maverick and Goose Buzz the Tower..."

No chance of seeing any pelicans for me before the 8th, so it's a case of rummaging through the files...

Found this scene from the movie Top Gun...

Taken at The Entrance, 18th September 2005. C5060WZ. Cropped, levels, saved for web in PS CS2.

And here's some more, just to get into the spirit of things...

All taken at the The Entrance with the C5060WZ, resizing, cropping, etc and save for the web in PS CS2.

Al.

Edit: PS: Can you tell it's cloudy here?
