I'll explain my nick:
My cat on the avatar is named "Mopsi" (read it reversed!)
and "Grüß Gott" the peeople greet in Southern Germany,
but I live in the North (100 km northern of Berlin), here one says "moin, moin!"

"Grüß Gott" I learnt in Austria (I think...) and remembered it thanks to Kusturica and his No Smoking Orchestra, their song "Grüß Gott Trauer".

Hi Grube, thats a decent looking scope that you have and a fine looking cat as well. I am a cat person also.
I see also from your picture that you have the same cloud problem up north as we do down under .
Did you get to see Comet Swan when it brightened up recently?
cheers

Hi Ric,
I think, you are speaking to me (who is Grube?)
my scope is manufactured by Carl Zeiss,
and Mopsi is very interested for my doing in the darkness
No, sorry, when comet Swan was brightened, we always had cloudy skies
