Wow Giorgio that's a wonderful shot !

Could you tell us what frame rate and settings you used on the Philips 900.

Welcome to the forum, hope to see more of your work.

Very nice, Giorgio

Oh to have some nice seeing (sigh). Wonder exactly where you are around Italy?

But you've also done a very nice job of capture and processing.

hi all
Thanks for the apreciament on this picture
Saturn this Year here in Italy is high near the Zenith 80 deg (i think ..but i havent my laptop here and i have to check how is high when it transit the meridian)
Whit Philips spc 900 the frame rate was 10 sec
gamma 30%
gain 60%
white balance manual (less blue )
brightness 50 (usually i use K3ccd tools for acquiring AVI and is helpfull the ADU prewiev who is around 190 / 200 )
gamma 30/40 %
saturation 40 %
in Registax 4
i use gradient and quality 65 ...no multypoint selected only normal
then i use to make a refernce frame of almost the half of the frame quantity eg. 1200 frame i do 600 then i realign
and in this picture of saturn i use only the 1° slide in wavelt set at 50 %
after thath i use photoshop cs for balancing the colours ,layers and curve.
sorry for my bad English but i hope its comprensible.
thanks again for the appreciament
cheers
