Was looking for somewhere to go over the Australia Day Weekend.
Of course we ended up at the Sunshine Coast (Mooloolaba) for 2 nights.
Thursday night was booked everywhere,
$180 each other night and $8.50 for a plate of chips at the Mooloolaba surf club.
Bloody Dive.
While looking I found return tickets to KL for $500 each. Booked. Then to Penang for a week in the Holiday Inn and then to Hoi An for a week in a river resort then a few nights in KL.
The lobby in KL is on the 25th floor, the 50 Sq/mtr rooms are on 35 and up. All up around $3K for 3 weeks with breakfasts.
Wife went for a oing away party at Mooloolaba Surf Club on Sunday night. She lasted 1 hr before she told us we were leaving (I always hated the place, having lived in Mooloolaba for 40 years)
