Bowie in Berlin - concert review

Well Melbourne went off! Some stunning musicians played a wonderful tribute to Bowie tonight. Big ups to the note perfect rythym section and the hard working lead guitarist but the biggest thrill was the guy playing a freaking THERAMIN live on stage!
Highlights were Dave Grainey & Max Sharam - nailed it & Heroes brought the house down. A few missing keyboard sounds but considering the complexity of the material and the challenge of doing it live I take my hat off to you all and thank you for the memories.
I too was at Bowie's show at Lang park in Brissy in 1977 and when you guys started with note perfect 'Warzawa' tonight as Bowie did then, well I got goosebumps all over!
As Molly would say- "Do yourself a favour" and see this show!

Great review sorry I missed it.
Saw Bowie first in 77 or 78 at Sydney show grounds when a young topless girl came up to me and said hi my name is.... hmmmm never could remember her name..... I also have a feeling that the first show rained out and rescheduled next night with about twice as many people in attendance as ticketing was a shambles. But I could be confusing that one with Rod Stewart around same year. Anyone else there and remember?
Next was Glass Spider tour in Brissy in the 80s. Great concert and show the likes of which will never be seen again I reckon as i've read Bowie financed it all.
Little known trivia i've read is that Bowie financed his great mate Marc Bolan son Rolan through his education from 2yrs old after Marc died.
Was a massive Bolan/Bowie fan and can only wonder where Marc may have gone had he lived past what 29?
