Very reluctant about this sale but it's something I must do due to very little use and something I do not have a lot of time for. I am selling the following items below as a pack. Pickup only and everything is in excellent condition.
Basically I will be offloading some equipment and stick to solar astronomy for now as it's much easier to do and I have more time for it.
- Celestron 8" C8-A XLT (CG-5) OTA (This tube has been fantastic! I purchased it second hand off here which was only used once. I took it to Anthony (originally from Bintel down here in Melbourne) to check for collimation and a basic checkup and nothing had to be done. He said collimation was perfect and mirrors were in excellent condition. It has only been used by me around 3 times.)
- Canon EOS T-Ring adapter
- Celestron SCT T-Adapter
- Losmandy VCB8 (allows the attachment of a guide scope onto the OTA)
- Celestron 9x50mm Right Angle Correct Image Illuminated Finder Scope with Bracket (BRAND NEW, never used!)
- William Optics 2" Carbon Fiber Dielectric Diagonal with 1.25" adapter
- Orion 180mm MAK bag (holds the 8" beautifully) - this was a special order and took 3 months to get
- Celestron Deluxe Tele-Extender - not pictured but for sale in another thread
- Celestron Focal Reducer f/6.3
- Thousand Oakes Dew Heater
- Kendrick FireFly Heater 1.25"
- Farpoint Dew Shield (8" SCT)
- Kendrick Dew Strap for 8" SCT
- ZWO ASI 224MC Colour Camera (original box and accessories)
- Redshift Planetarium 8 for Windows.
I will throw in the required screws and cables that you may need (not pictured), just need to dig them out. I will also throw in the following:
- 19mm Skywatcher ExtraFlat Wide Angle 1.25" eyepiece
- The original finderscope for the OTA.
I will be keeping my HEQ5 Pro for my solar work but if someone is interested in it and makes a very, very tempting offer for it I may consider selling it.
There is around $3,700 worth of stuff in this pack so I am looking for $2,750 which I think is fair. Pickup only.
If I get enough requests to split the pack up then I will consider it.
