Wiruna time lapse

i took about 14 hours of time lapse the last time i headed up to Wiruna if anyone is interested. it is pretty cool watching the sky over the course of a night in such a great location. i was testing out a new lens and unfortunately it is pretty hopeless for astro, the images are not out of focus, just a cheap fish eye lens. i took it back but thought i might as well post the results

Looks like a good fun project Aiden even if the lens is not a keeper for Astro work.

yeah, i will have to spend a lot more than $400 to get a good one apparently, a bit disappointing, the stars were pinpoint but had a massive halo which made it look out of focus and it was worse around the edges. i will get another one down the track
