Orion and running man

My latest effort on M42 and the running man
90x30 sec at 800 ISO and 90x30 sec at 1600 ISO. Darks and bias.
FLT110 with 0.8 reducer flattener.
I had to crop it tightly as the images rotated after the meridian flip and large portions of the corners were not usable.
Taken last week and processed this pm while sheltering from the summer heat in Melbourne...

Beautiful image, Bo. Nicely framed despite the cropping. Great result for 30 sec subs.

Thanks Dunk,
Minimal processing as I wanted to keep it "natural". Levels, curves and a couple of layer masks only.

Thanks Graeme. The scope was f7 native working at 5.6 after the 0.8 reducer, so short subs were able to get the details without blowing out the core. In fact 30 sec at 1600 was almost too much.

Nice one Bo! I am working on an M42 myself from the mono camera. Think I have enough data after the last couple of nights. Would be happy if it works as well.
