NGC2239 {Rosette] in NB
Two nights in a row with no moon and the midnight temp hovering around 20C - as good as it gets here at the moment. So I fell out of bed and had a few hours with the Rosette. This is a traditional Hubble mix of S2, Ha, OIII. Not much data (only 9x5 minutes each was possible before the beginning of the dawn light). But I was/am grateful for it all the same.
Hope this mix does not offend too many tender sensibilities.
Peter

That's very pretty Peter, the colour palette is reminiscent of an opal floating there in the blackness of space.

Quite nice, Peter. Like Andy, I thought "opal" when I first saw it.

Gentlemen, I thank you one and all.
And to thank you properly, I have done a rework of the data as an OHS palette.
Hope you enjoy it.

Great reprocess! I've always enjoyed the "skull" framing for this target too. What setup are you using? Excellent result for such short integration time.

Ill go with the original one, more intense, more iridescent, more art, more better. Love it, very eye candy popping, to put it mildly
