Lead crystal battery

Anyone use this type of deep cycle battery? If you believe the literature,they have a deeper discharge,greater cyclic life and faster recharge rate then an equivalent AGM battery {more expensive though}
I was looking at utilising a battery box with a DC-DC charger and replacing the
dual battery system I have in my 4wd with it and using the box for astro power as well.

No specific experience of these, but in general the more expensive batteries do perform better than the budget options. This has held true for my experience of UPS systems and I thoroughly tested batteries for radio controlled cars years ago where I found cheaper batteries were extremely poor performers, showing initial promise with measurement but they dropped off fast when in actual use.

I suggest you check the data sheets against sheets for your existing batteries and check some 4x4 forums for user experience of them.

From what I can gather on 4x4 forums etc they look promising. Decided to try, was originally going for a Fallriver 120ah agm, gone with a 100ah lead Crystal, see how I go🙂
