Sun proms on 10 Nov

10 Nov. Midday. A sunny day and out with the Lunt 100 Ha scope. This single exposure image was taken with a Canon 550d camera. A variety of prominences can be seen along the Sun's eastern limb. Not a great deal on the surface. Thanks for viewing. Cheers, John W.

Had a look at the sun through the PST about the same time you posted the image. There were several nice prominences as you have well captured, sorry now I was too lazy to get a camera out myself.

Nice capture John, just spent the last hour on these proms visually with my LS100, in some nice seeing conditions.
