With so much happening in the world recently it is sometimes easy to forget those who gave their lives and those who served in the various conflicts around the globe.
"Lest we forget"... how wonderful to see just about everyone I saw at Browns Plains shopping centre stop what they were doing and stand up in silence at 11am.
In the hope that one day, the blight of armed conflict will be lifted from humanity, thank you to all those who serve and have served in our armed forces; I am deeply grateful for the freedom you have gifted me through your bravery, service and sacrifice.
