Hi all
Thanks to Houghy for reminding me earlier today of this nice sunspot, so I got it with the 10 inch F5.6 newtonian. Unmodded 300D camera, with MPCC coma corrector. 4x 1/300th sec ISO 100 images stacked. Taken through a thousand oaks full aperature glass solar filter. Processed in photoshop. Some unsharp masking done.
Scott
A fantastic image Scott. Whilst we were suffering thunderstorms and hail in Brissie, I was lucky enough to obtain an exclusive, private view via e-mail from your agent Mr H0ugh, before this image was released to the public!
Thanks all
Happy to share, yes the weather was co operative at the time, though the cold snap and cloud has come in now.
Solar imaging is easier then hand guiding DSO images too hehehe
