5 hrs (30x600s), flats, darks, biases.
Camera: Atik 383l+ color
Scope: C9,25 with f6,3 reducer
Guiding: TS-optics 11mm off-axis guider, Loadstar camera
Mount: Eq 8
Location: Son, Norway

A nice result. Composition is good too (it's always attractive to me to see a galaxy in a large field like that).

Hi Ørnulf, nice image but the galaxy looks a bit soft to me. Also missing some of the colour that seems typical (though this is always a matter of personal taste and colour is always difficult for a galaxy seen through dust.) I have some of my own NGC6946 data that I hope to process soon, so I have been looking critically at quite a few renditions of this object. I hope my comments are helpful...
