I ran out of battery in my Camera last night.. no good

So i did something awesome today Canon 40d Battery eliminator....

Endless power !!!!!

Did you stick a voltage regulator inside and battery casing ? This one ?

Thanks. I just noticed the thread in the DIY section.

So the central battery pin does nothing ? Just need GND and +ve (for whatever battery you have) ?

I can see a trip to Hornsby Jaycar tomorrow.

There are 4 contacts in this battery, two long ones and two short fat ones, the long ones are the ones i am using, they say + and -.

after you connect the input power to the reg, use the pot to adjust the output voltage.
