Excellent images JJJ, lots of detail resolved and in colour too! Glad to see you are up and running again after that terrible storm cell that ripped through your place last week.

Cheers

Dennis

Man talk about punishment, imaging at that magnification without tracking. Sure you're not related to Mike. I seem to recall him doing crazy things like this. Don't know how he kept his hair

Fantastic result Jeanette.

BTW how's that new bracket working out?

That second image has inspired me to have another crack at that spot tomorow with the 10" GSO Dob and the little Canon camera. I am guessing that being just down the road a bit you are enjoying the same fairly clean skies at the moment.
Very nice, ta for posting those

I had a beautifully sunny day for most of today and I completely forgot about the sunspot!!!!!!!

I was having too much fun with my kids.

Well done Jeanette.

Dave, I use one hand to hold the camera, one hand to guide and the other hand to focus. Tricky.
I focus with the scope, then fine adjustments using the camera.
I do wish the image was more crisp. Looking at the pics, they make you want to adjust it a little bit more.
Paul, the weight of the camcorder and bracket is just too much. The whole unit just sags and is impossible to align. So it's shelved until I purchase a new camera.
Thanks for your comments everyone.
