Meade 12" forks - verge side bulk rubbish collection?

We accumulate astronomical "junk" over time. It's hard to get rid of it, in fact hard to give it away sometimes!

Road verge bulk rubbish collection time here, and I'm wondering, is me or anyone ever really going to want meade forks from a 12" classic???? I think it's probably time to ditch

I sold my (working) nexstar 11 forks plus controller for $200 on iceinspace. Put an add for offers or for giveaway. Someone might want them.

A few years ago I put an add up for them ... got no bites. It's been too hard since. As it turns out, someone has responded to my facebook post today and will take them off my hands.

Had the same problem with my CPC925 forks and tripod when I remounted the OTA. I looked at the trouble people were having selling the whole kit on here at what I would have considered quite reasonable prices and ended up giving the mounting stuff to a mate who may or may not ever do anything with them photographically.
