another mercury transit

we melbournians were so lucky to have a clear day on the 9th that i had to get at least something of the transit before i had to be at my maths exam (hows that for luck) but heres what i got.

hope you did well in the maths exam, they were not my favourite when I was at school back in BC (before colour TV)

pity that maths exam wasnt on orbital mechanics - you would of had an advantage?

it was the thousand oaks filter 1ponders, it worked a treat.
the dark areas you see on those pictures are from how i took the photos, i wouldve used my LPI but my laptops on its last legs and i need a new one before i can use it again.
The exams did go well thanks, im finished now and on holidays for about 4 months (should be able to get the telescope out for a bit during that time) and i wish it was orbital mathematics, thatll come once i start astrophysics proper - it was multivariable calculus
