I received my set of the above binos today. Mounted them on my fabed mount {photos to follow} and as usual total cloud cover. Then just after dark, a bit of clear sky. I lined up the moon and what a sight. It seemed it was sitting on my lap. Brillant! Just to check, i swung over to juipter. WOW! all 4 moons visible. As a back up to my Lx200 7" meade, I am going to have a lot of fun. Extremely pleased.
There are two impressive things I do with my pair.
1. At a dark site, just swing back and forth around Virgo and be amazed by the dozens of galaxies that pop out.
2. When I have non-astronomy people over and the topic turns to binoculars (there are always bird watching pairs around on a table), I then pull out a pair of 16X70s and show them. "Wow" they all say, what big binoculars! Then I say hang on, and pull out a pair of 20X80s. "Amazing" they then all say. Then I pull out the 25X100s - that's the finale - they are astounded.

Renato
I am enclosing some photos of my bino mount.I cannot claim the idea as mt own so I must thank Dennis Simmons on this site and Roy Hess on Youtube for there inspiration. The counterweight was supplied by my son Aaron from his jym. I had to make a couple of alternations such as the bino mount point to prevent interference from the front of the tubes. It is a pleasure to use.
